To Everything There Is a Season — What I’ve Learned About Change (and Trusting the Timing of Your Life)

Right now, I’m sitting outside with the sun gently warming my face, birds singing their Sunday songs, and a soft breeze dancing through the trees. I close my eyes for a moment, and what fills me isn’t noise — it’s clarity.

Change has been my companion lately. Not the loud kind, but the soul-stirring, life-redefining kind.

In 2023, I stepped out of an identity I had worn for decades — one shaped by structure, certainty, corporate rhythm. I handed in my resignation, exhaled deeply, and walked into the unknown with open hands and a racing heart.

That’s when Tooliscious Coaching was born — not just as a business, but as a love letter to creative minds and big hearts who want to build something real, something aligned, something that frees up space for the work that truly matters.

But leaving one world behind wasn’t the only shift.
I also said yes to love — and married the man who makes my life feel like home, even when everything else is unfamiliar.
Then I packed up my world, hugged Germany goodbye, and moved across the Atlantic to start over in the United States.

A whole new season.
New soil.
New language in daily life.
New rituals.
New me.

You don’t just “relocate” your life — you re-root it.
And that process is… well, beautiful and messy.

There were moments I felt strong and certain. And other moments — like standing in a sea of boxes or trying to find the right peanut butter in an American supermarket — where I felt small, strange, and unsteady.

But every time I sat with the discomfort, I realized: this too is part of growth.

And I kept going.

Because I had a vision.
Because I’ve done hard things before.
Because I’ve learned that transformation doesn’t come with a manual, but it does come with moments of magic if you’re paying attention.

I think of my daughter often — my miracle.
There was a time I didn’t think I’d ever become a mother. But Samantha arrived when I finally let go of trying to control the outcome.
And that’s the thing: trusting the season you’re in is a superpower.

My life now is softer, fuller, truer.
And that’s not because I know exactly what I’m doing (spoiler: I don’t always).
It’s because I’ve learned to trust the rhythm of becoming.

I coach people through transitions all the time — launching businesses, automating processes, freeing up time for creativity and joy — but this year reminded me of the truth I teach:

🌀 There’s a time to hold on.
🍂 A time to let go.
🌷 A time to begin again.
💞 And always, a time to choose love over fear.

So let me ask you this:

  • What season are you in right now?
  • What are you holding onto that’s ready to be released?
  • What would happen if you trusted your timing… even if it didn’t make sense yet?

Because maybe you don’t need to push right now.
Maybe you need to pause.
To breathe.
To walk barefoot in the metaphorical grass and remind yourself: You’re already becoming.

Here’s what I know:

✨ Change is not the enemy.
✨ Uncertainty is not a sign you’re failing.
✨ You don’t need to have it all figured out to take the next brave step.

And you’re not alone in this.
If you’re building something new, if you’re stepping into your next chapter, if you feel the winds of change but you’re still gathering your courage — I see you.

You’re exactly where you need to be.

With love, sunshine, and soft beginnings,

Maria
